Nithiin and Nabha Natesh unveil new poster of Maestro

The makers of Maestro, the Telugu remake of the Hindi film Andhadhun, took to Twitter to unveil the new poster of the film with Nithiin and Nabha Natesh sitting on a scooter. Touted to be Nithiin’s 30th film, it is directed by Merlapaka Gandhi. 

In the film, Nithiin plays the role of a blind piano player, which was essayed by Ayushmann Khurrana in the original. Nabha Natesh and Tamannaah play the roles of Radhika Apte and Tabu, respectively.

Only a few weeks ago, the makers of Maestro had unveiled the first-look poster of the film. In the newposter, Nabha Natesh can be seen riding a scooter with Nithiin on the back seat on the streets.

 While Nabha opted for breezy attire and a pink helmet, Nithiin can be seen in casual jeans and tee wearing a black helmet. Sharing the new poster on Instagram, an excited Nabha Natesh captioned it, “Wishing everyone a happy Sri Ramanavami from team #Maestro @actor_nithiin @merlapaka @tamannaahspeaks @nikitha_ak (sic).”

Sharing the new poster on Twitter, the makers captioned it, “Love is Blind and Love doesn’t Discriminate! #MAESTRO is on the way with his girl to wish you a Happy #SriRamaNavami (sic).”

Dwayne Johnson to play titular DC supervillain in Black Adam

Dwayne Johnson is all set to bring the DC anti-hero, Black Adam, to life in the movie of the same name. The actor took to Instagram to share a photo from the gym where he is seen flaunting his impressive quadriceps. He announced that Black Adam will begin production this week. 

The film is slated to release in July 2022. Dwayne Johnson wrote that he is ‘Black Adam ready’ on Instagram and that the movie kicks offshoot this week.

Black Adam is the antagonist of Shazam (formerly Captain Marvel). The character first appeared in DC comics in the 1940s, starting off as a power-hungry villain and then slowly turning into an anti-hero by the 2000s. 

According to the DC Comics website, “Black Adam is an ancient wielder of magic, both a hero and a villain over his thousands-years-long life. He believes that he is the right person to lead humanity and that he is the solution to the greater good of the world, but has allowed his power to corrupt him over the many years of his life.” 

Akshay Kumar Sooryavanshi postponed again due to covid-19 cases

The film’s team released an official statement and announced the same. Director Rohit Shetty informed his decision to postpone the film to Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray in a virtual meeting held on April 4.

In the meeting, Uddhav Thackeray appreciated Rohit Shetty as he took the brave and difficult decision of postponing Sooryavanshi owing to the current Covid situation in the state.”

Sooryavanshi bollywood was supposed to release on April 30, which was a year later than the original release date on March 24, 2020. The film was delayed for the first time because of the nationwide lockdown imposed to curb the spread of the novel coronavirus.

On April 4, Akshay announced that he has tested positive for the novel coronavirus. The actor was admitted to Mumbai's Hiranandani hospital. Today, Akshay revealed that he has been hospitalised as a precautionary measure.

He wrote, “Thank you everyone for all your warm wishes and prayers, they seem to be working. I am doing fine, but as a precautionary measure under medical advice, I have been hospitalised. I hope to be back home soon. Take care (sic).”
