OH MY GOD 2 WILL NOT RELEASE IN OCTOBER
Akshay Kumar confirmed that his upcoming film Oh My God 2 will not be released in October this year. A journalist, at the press conference, asked Akshay about the release date of his film, OMG 2. Akshay further said that the reason why back-to-back films are releasing is because a lot of movies have been waiting to release since the pandemic.
Rumours were rife that Akshay Kumar Cuttputtli was called Mission Cindrella. However, Director Ranjit M Tewari denied the rumours and said that the film was always called Cuttputtli. He said, "It is inspired from The Assassin. Ye film kabhi Mission Cinderella naam tha nahi. It was always Cuttputlii. I don't know where it came from. Reacting to the same, Akshay joked, "It came from Mission Mangal (laughs)." Ranjit then went on to say, "Because we did a film earlier called Bell Bottom which was also mission based, so may be for that."
Akshay Kumar left fans asking for more as he returns as a cop with Cuttputlli. The 2-minute-50 second trailer shows Akshay and his team on a mission to nab a serial killer.
